  1. For Costco timings and drivers:
  • For Costco Toronto: We need to assign tasks at 1pm Toronto time and send list to head driver harsh at 1pm for sorting and counting. Costco closes at 9:30pm so we need return any failed or unattempt packages before that.

 

  • For Costco Winnipeg: We need to assign tasks before 2pm Winnipeg time and send list to Shamsher after assigning tasks. Costco closes at 8pm so we need return any failed or unattempt packages before that. We have 3 regular drivers Shamsher, Salah and Tonderai.
  • For Costco BC: We need to assign tasks before 1:30pm BC time and send list to Bruno after assigning tasks. Costco closes at 8:30pm so we need return any failed or unattempt packages before that. We have 3 regular driver Zichen, Bruno and Jashandeep.

 

  1. What do I tell the driver if he cannot get back to the depot on time? What information do I have to send:
  • In the extreme case that drivers have no other alternatives but to bring the packages home, we need to follow these steps:
  • Inform Costco of patient name and address so they are aware as their Customer support teams respond to inquiries from their patients
  • Ensure that we tell drivers to keep the packages in Ambient temperatures
  • Ensure that the task is failed
  • Create a return task for the next day
  • Create note in our Slack channel or in the Dispatch notes of the task in question

 

  1. For Failed tasks:
  • We need to update dispatch note with reason for every failed order at night.
  • We need to touch base with drivers before one hour of closing time of Costco to check on them how many orders they still have on them and weather we need to assign return task or no.
